Years in Roman numerals

Years are written like any other number, one decimal place at a time. Every year from 1900 to 1999 starts MCM (1,000 + 900), and every year from 2000 to 2099 starts MM. The year 2000 itself is simply MM.

Pick a year to see how it's built, the mistakes people make with it, and how it looks in tattoo lettering.
